The first 2000 km
I rode the first kilometers on the motorcycle right here on Kučka korita. Today I am celebrating the 2k jubilee of my motorcycle experience. By the way, at this time of the year there is half a meter of snow at this location, but this winter is really mild. During the winter, I accumulated over 2000 kilometers, but also memories.
Right at the beginning, here on this road section, I was bitten by a dog (šarplaninac). I was slowly driving my motorbike through a herd of sheep, then it caught up with me and in flight bit my leg above the boot. I didn't have a camera then, so it went unrecorded. But I can never forget. Fortunately, the motorcycle equipment prevented the dog's teeth from breaking through - that's why you always wear motorcycle pants.
The odometer clicked steadily, each passing kilometer on the motorcycle's journey echoing a sense of accomplishment and determination. The goal of reaching 2000 kilometers, a milestone etched in my mind, was now within grasp. It wasn't just a numerical target; it represented a journey of exploration, resilience, and a commitment to the open road. First service at dealers at 1000km was far away now.
Navigating mountain roads, plains, and winding coastal routes, the motorcycle became more than just a mode of transportation—it was a faithful companion, carrying the rider through a myriad of terrains and weather conditions. Rain-soaked roads, snowy shades and sun-drenched highways became chapters in the story of the 2000-kilometer odyssey.
