Today is the Republic day of SFRJ. A short ride to Sutomore.

This Republic Day of once great country is also an occasion for reflection and introspection. It prompts citizens to assess the progress made in upholding the values articulated in the constitution, to acknowledge challenges, and to reaffirm the commitment to building a just and inclusive society - as it once was in SFRJ. It is a day for civic education, as citizens are reminded of their roles and responsibilities in sustaining the democratic fabric of the nation.

In many countries, Republic Day serves as a beacon of hope, particularly for emerging democracies. For me this day was a special when I was a kid. It exemplifies the potential for positive change, emphasizing that governance should be a collective endeavor guided by principles of accountability, transparency, and social justice.
