The best view on St. Stefan
I am going on a short trip from Podgorica to the Church of Saint Sava, above Saint Stefan - Montenegro. I woke up early and started packing. There is something enchanting when riding alone and when it's still dawn. You can only hear birds that early.
The world seems to unfold in slow motion as I navigate the winding roads and open stretches. Shadows play on the landscape, gradually retreating as the sun asserts its dominance over the lingering darkness. The first rays of light kiss the landscape, soon as you leave Podgorica heading toward Cetinje, revealing the intricate details of the surroundings—the dewdrops on blades of grass, the silhouette of distant hills, and the reflective glimmer of lake mirroring the awakening sky.
Eventually when you arrive, from the top of hill, where the church of St. Sava is located, there is a wonderful view unfolding in all directions. It's a must see and must feel. The wind ignites the scent of the sea.
You can ride right up to the courtyard gate of the church, and the view unfolds from there - left and right. It's a great parking area, so you can go there by car too.
