The capital of Imperial Montenegro
Sometimes I talk about historic stuff. I never went to this place before. Today is the day to pay a visit.
Donji Brčeli, in Crmnica, is the capital of former imperial Montenegro. It was from this place that Emperor Šćepan Mali governed Montenegro. The overall circumstances of that time are an interesting story. More on that in this trip. In the vast expanse of time, there stands a solitary ruin, a poignant vestige of an ancient capital that once thrived in splendor.
Nature, in its patient reclaiming, has softened the harsh edges of this solitary relic, weaving a delicate tapestry of vines and foliage through the intricate stonework. Cracks in the stone walls tell silent stories of seismic shifts and tumultuous events that unfolded beneath the gaze of the emperor.
